BioLogic on the way to green glory
Ireland, 26 April 2013 – BioLogic’s A1 Ratings solutions has won a Green Apple Award in the national campaign to find Britain’s greenest companies, councils and communities.
The A1 Ratings solutions competed against more than 200 other nominations in the Green Apple Awards for the Built Environment & Architectural Heritage. BioLogic will be presented with their trophy and certificate on June 24, at a ceremony in the National Self Build & Renovation Centre. The trophy and certificate will be presented by Doreen Lawrence, successful campaigning mother of murder victim Stephen Lawrence, who was training to be an architect before his tragic demise.
“We are delighted to get this environmental recognition. The A1 Ratings solution provides surveys and customized systems for retrofitting houses to the highest energy performance standards.” says Dr. Douglas McMillan, Director of BioLogic. “We provide our customers with detailed reports which precisely determines what investment they need to make to achieve the level of energy efficiency and cost savings that they desire.”
As a result of this Green Apple Award success, BioLogic has been invited to have a winning paper published in The Green Book, the leading international work of reference on environmental best practice, so that others around the world can follow their example and learn from their achievement.
BioLogic may also progress to represent Ireland in the European Business Awards for the Environment.
